"BAN these LEADERS and END this POLITRICS''

'Kasaragod' is my own district. It was an unknown corner of Kerala. But,  now it has become a famous (NOTORIOUS infact) place. So, people from across the globe will easily recognize this place-name. The credit goes to the 'Endosulfan', the pest-icide or human-icide or a synonym of  'hom-icide'. Fortunately my house was not beneath the poisonous-helicopter-rain. So, my family still live good with proper physique and brain!

The 70% of the world-Endosuulfan-production is happening in India. Endosulfan is banned in 17 countries and it has been severely restricted in another 22 countries! But, Honorable spoke-persons of Indian Govt. say that, "we don't have enough reasons(proofs) to ban it in entire India, since there is no low-cost alternative-products for Endosulfan to use on cultivation and moreover it harmfully affected ONLY a very small region of this large country! It's not a problem of Endosulfan but the problem of the usage-manner in the affected zone!"

Here is the filthy face of the concerned Indian political leaders! There is no wonder, if the family-members of Endosulfan-victims got attracted to the Terrorism  to revenge on this 'inhumane-government move'. I might support 'em. BECAUSE, nothing can stop the responsible social-servers from conspiring to splash down the Endosulfan over the helms of honorable democratic leaders, who denied the most-needed ban! If Gandhiji was alive, he could have went  back to the UK to welcome the British back to India. Because, on the ground of this particular issue,
the leaders like Sharat Powar and Jayaram Prakash have become the 'cancer of the people by the people for the people'!

These wanton-leaders are like 'father who do not  bother to provide medicine for the son creeping into death!' It will be a huge defeat of the Democracy, if still there is no end to Endosulfan. Study about the Endosulfan-tragedy affected-areas continues for last 10 years + ... etc... !

For both the 'left and right' of Kerala, this 'God's own issue' may be another golden chance to capitalize for the political-gains; an apt platform to criticize the opposition!

The questions we don't like to answer!

What all precautions shall be taken when we step out of OUR a/c car into the EARTH, in this damn summer? Do you use any sun-screen lotion when you loiter around on sun-beams?

Which juice do you prefer when you befall thirsty and tired? I prefer full mugs of chilled Grape juice ;)
One of my friends wrote a funny sentence on his facebook-wall, “I hate the sun coming up at 6 and lighting his torch on my eyes. I will be sleeping with sunglasses from tonight!”
I've seen handicapped BEGGARS forced to look up at hot-sun whole day on roadside for some pennies to keep life on; may be deployed by some mafia of cruel vendors as we seen in 'The slum-dog Millionaire'! We can’t justify that 'these' live in higher life-standard than that of discolored street-dogs!

Whenever I pass aside of them with branded body-embellishments and loaded wallet, I feel 'guilty' and sadistic on receiving a 'palm-less arm' in front, for mercy!  The thought about the distance between one HAVE's pocket-money for a single day and one HAVE-NOT's life-budget always bothers me when I see those inglorious humans! Government (we) got plenty to act after these disastrous lives for long-term goals! I meant, apart from 'removing Beggars from pedestrian-streets to municipality dump-corners'!

Every 'I' are helpless here! Someone genuine needed to initiate the eradication of this chronic illness of our humanity! Or else the 'warm fact' in front of our eyes will remain as 'cool factor' forever!

This is an old-fashioned and unpopular topic where we always wish to disconnect our thoughts deliberately and to keep quiet and ‘mind our own businesses’!

"Thanks to LG and Barber...."

I wanted to watch India's LAST match in ICC 2011. So, i came bit early to room; but power supply betrayed! So, after bath n lunch I went to the nearest LG show-room with Vishakh. Had a long-distant view @ a couple of TV's placed inside the LG-outlet through glass-wall. There were so many citizen around us to watch, clap and whistle often. We fed up of STANDING in hot spot. We wanted to SIT somewhere so badly! Being tired, we fueled us by breaking 2 tender coconuts from a street-entrepreneur. We thought that 'what to do next!?' Vishakh looked at my hair and smiled. I asked him, 'why are you smiling without any reason! huh?' He took me to the nearest barber-shop with TV-facility and i could sacrifice my hair to get a chance to fix our buttocks in SEATS, we remained there till the end of Aussies-batting. On return, i looked tidy and Vishakh was happy. We thanked the barber sincerely and he told us, 'come again to watch Sachin's century okay....?' He was cruelly though hopefully eying at Vishakh's short hair ;)

A BLOCK to remember...!

I, Anoop, Vishakh and Shyam could manage to cover more than 3 km’s of jogging in the breezy dawn at the greenish park near to our rental house. Energizing run in the fair time of the day was like an act of the ‘nurture with nature’.  The park in the middle of ‘the garden city’ was lively with natural noise of birds from curvaceous trees and varieties of horns originate on the road aside. Most of the joggers looked as if they are in critical need of health. Gentlemen and ladies at a wide spectrum of age walk and run as if a group of impish street-dogs are chasing them to molest. Some were rich in the mass of tummy, buttocks, waist and breasts. Pulsating flesh-blocks were flowing out of the bodies of the most those who walk and run around. We were in track suits. Some abnormally fat college girls were in loose jackets and shorts. After our rounds of run, we moved to the meadows in the park to perform the Yoga and breathing exercises. While we strongly breathe in and out, a course of din will be produced. It would magnetize everyone’s notice and thereby keeps us in limelight.

We returned back at sharp 6.30am. Because, one among our neighbor-girls will be in their bedroom costume at the nearest-petty shop to buy milk packs at sharp 6.30am. Getting ‘a girl next door’ is not a silly result!

Everyone contributed their hands in breakfast-preparation interchangeably and took ice-cold shower in another half an hour. Quaker Oats-porridge, steamed bananas, peeled carrots and scrambled-egg. Bread-box was already empty to toast it. After a tasty, healthy course of breakfast Anoop, Shyam and Vishakh left the house for their work.

I had to escort one of my friend to attend an interview for the post of HR payroll executive. But, I too decided to attend the interview just to observe and study the goddamn interviewer and to be an over-smarted interviewee. So, this time my grooming was at my own private liberty; jeans and casual shirt instead of executive suit.

I went to the bus station and while I wait for bus, an interesting scene captured my attention. There was a stylish modern lady standing aside. She was in a short skirt and top. In the crowd, markedly one middle-aged man was there with an intense and unstoppable gaze at the lady from her top to bottom. He looked like haven’t been bathed for weeks. The pretty lady was not noticing the wicked person; instead, she was busy talking on her cell. Being curious, I changed my position to have a much better view. I couldn’t believe my eyes; the man was slowly stimulating his goddamn ‘male-badge’ with his fingers through his basic-garment in the middle of public! Everyone eyed at this scene with a shameful smile. The process continued for a while and there were none to react to this nastiest face of culture! ‘Shall I react or not?’

After a little while, my bus came and headed toward my destination to meet my batch-mate who is awaiting me.

I went kilometers ahead with my friend named Sunanditha, from Orissa. Sunanditha was indented to obtain this job by any hook or crook. She is a Non-vegetarian Brahmin by cast and looked extremely fair-complexioned. She behaves as she is younger to me by 10 years. Intact, she is elder to me by 2 years. Whenever Sunanditha speak English, there will be a sarcastic smile in my face due to her funny accent, the Mother Tongue Interference. Her kid is ‘the most important person’ in her life in her words! Her husband is working in Orissa and they live on 3G phone. Temporarily she has been staying in Bangalore with her parents, due to her sister’s inevitable dream-job in Bangalore. Sundanditha’s gentleman will be transferred soon to Bangalore.

I use monthly-bus-pass to travel around in the city. It cannot be applicable in Volvo a/c buses. But, Sunanditha was afraid of vomiting and that made me to be aside her in Volvo for Kilometers and kilometers. My wallet was in progress of shrinking due to the bus fares, juice fares and auto fares. Being a male, I had to be the one who is in front of every expense we face!

After getting off the bus, we walked for more than half an hour in roguish sun-beam and found the proper interview-venue after so many phone calls to the respective arrogant company personnel and inquiry with ample of unknown faces we faced frequently.

We were tired from long walk in midday and frustrated of the location in the out-skirts of the city. Finally we entered the specified building and the sign board signaled that, ‘Synergy Business Solutions’ is on 2nd floor. It was an antiquated building block with zero interiors and aesthetics. There were only a few offices. The silent-surround gave a feeling that all the employees are on sleep. I hastily searched for the urinary area though the need was unstoppable and uncontrollable. But, Sunanditha consoled that, ‘don’t be crazy… Just wait for a while, there will be toilets inside the office!' I obeyed her and searched for the stair case or elevator. The elevator was waiting for us with the jaws opened wide.

Aside to the elevator, ‘Do not spit here’ was written on the wall and some god’s pictures found nearby to 'really avoid spitting'. But, there were different colors of spit-spots and sandal’s bottom prints lavishly on the filthy wall and even over the caution-title!

We entered the elevator; there was only a narrow space within. The elevator moved up to the 2nd floor and before we could open the door and get off, the power failed! The light dried up and the darkness spread around. Ceiling fan inside the cabin too halted. There was a small gap on the stern door to get fair-enough air to carry on life inside. I pressed the alarm button on the panel. It alarmed aloud to invite security person’s attention. But, none came! I remembered a saying, ‘a person’s 'actual culture' appears when he is in dark!’

We couldn’t see each other. It was tough for me to recognize Sunanditha’s position inside. I listened to her voice to detect her distance from me. As time passes we could at least have a vague vision inside. Sunanditha was not frightened because she might be confident that the man near to her is 'not an animal'. I was very alert with regard even to my minute movements inside.

It was our first experience in life. We enjoyed the surprising fate we are facing with. There was no proper network to telephone any god or goddess. So, we remained idle inside in expectation of the electricity’s arrival in simple light of cell phones. I pressed the alarm button over and over and we both called off for ‘help’ loudly.

In a couple of minutes we could hear some foot steps and they reached in the front of the elevator door with incredible curiosity on face. They looked at us as if I used to stare at the animal couples behind the bar in zoos! They understood that the lady is safe from Sundanditha’s smile. We pleaded them to open or smash the door. But, they were helpless. We had to wait for the power to come back.

Suddenly the interesting news could have spread across the entire mass and many visitors came down to have a look at both of us. Ladies smirked at me and the gents at Sunanditha. One person came closer the lift-window-hole and with a laugh and told us to wait for a while. Sunanditha lost her temper and blasted at him, ‘Why the hell are you laughing? Please help to open the door if possible…’ Later on Sunanditha came to know that, this person is the honorable interviewer!

Time in dark crept up to 1 hour. Sunanditha took out her red apples, yellow bananas , brown cookies and water bottle from her bag and gave me. It was a great relaxation to the drop-less throat. But, my urinary bladder  was badgering me to open the valve soon! Many faces passed by out side the lift-door and it took another 1 hour to get the hell out of this jail.

I wrote on the wooden wall of the elevator with a pencil, "Ambi and Suni lived here for 2 hours!", inspired from the film 'cast away'!

I understood the value of freedom. We could empathize the 'state of minds' of animals, birds and criminals who are entitled to be inside the cage for a life time!

After we come out of the elevator, Sunanditha  told me to standstill and gave a gentle pinch  at my cheek and whispered, ‘I will never forget this in my life. I will never forget you dear brother…!’ Simultaneously I thought, ‘what if you were an unmarried girl!?’But, I didn’t explore my thought.

We cheered up, refreshed and went to the interview. The interviewer was ‘extremely sorry for the unexpected inconvenience occurred in his office-building’. After the interview, Sunanditha treated me well with pastries, ice cream, tender coconuts and bus tickets!

"Mr.Prabhul K Nair.... See you soon.."

'Sentences and digits' we could read and the 'drawings' we could witness on the stinking toilet-walls of the rusting trains shows how imaginative are the people! None can come out of those art-galleries without a shame-filled smile at the lips. Every parent will be fluttered about this disastrous part of train journey. I don’t think the ambiance inside the cabin is capable of making any Indian proud being an Indian.

I went to Malappuram for 2 days by the Train. Train made up of iron was as hot as an iron-box in the making! Annoying humidity in the air continuously maddened and made me to sip more into and splatter more on the face again and again.  Music had nothing to do much in the muggy condition of the day. Many coffees, Teas, Pazhamporis, Biryanees, Appam and Muttacurry, Buttermilk, Parippuvasas and Uzhunnuvadas passed by aside over the journey. Also, many lips, eyes, skin-tones, anatomy and gestures came across the surface of my boyish-mind on my jaunt from various resources around.

On the way, the leach-paced passenger-train remained idle in a station for more than my tolerance-limit.  A clutch of guys attracted me to get down onto the station-platform. I drew near the group of around 10 and I understood that, during one of the co-travelers’ private proceeding inside the dirty toilet-cabin, his cell phone had fallen down into the hole and rested under the train on the rail tracks; the longest toilet in the planet!  The gentleman was aghast in losing his cell phone under the train. A gnarled tea-seller of the IRCTC came forward in his daggy official dress and extorted the contract of retrieving the cell phone. But, he demanded Rs.100/- for the insecure task! Before the green flag to be shown at the both ends, the tea-seller hastily infiltrated into the dirty-spot beneath the rusted toilet-hole and grabbed it by neglecting the foul-odoured droplets fall! He handed it over and collected the fresh currency and closed the deal. After a silly hand-wash, the tea-seller resumed praising aloud about his hot-tea and disappeared some-where. Half of the mob chortled at and the rest appreciated the Spiderman!

I could meet Prabhul n family, Reju, Saleel, Akshai and Hyder.  ‘Atlast’, Prahul got job and getting ready to take wing to the land of sand. He got only 2 days left out living in India! He will be backing only after not less than 730 nights and days as per the visa contents; a short-break from 'Kappa to Kubboos'.

We gallivanted around his native-zone to fraternize many of his kith and kin once before his maiden-flight across the ocean.  Above the neck and below the elbow turned dark from the bike rides and long walks on sunbeams. Presence of wrist-watch kept back a wide pallid line on the wrist! My preserved fairy-complexion got dried up in the wild heat like the skinless-apple endures!

Reddish grilled chicken and Tandoor rotti, I selected it from the lengthy menu for the supper at the famous restaurant of the place. We slept late in the night; the ‘last’ nighttime I can splurge with Prabhul! We chattered, muttered, chortled and slipped slept slowly. On the next day, when I step off of his house, I told his Dad and Mom that ‘See you after 2 years’. A negative sentence from me spread a dark smoke around. I ignited the sad-button 'in due' in that family and left.

I, Saleel, Akshai and Hyder escorted him to Kozhikode to purchase the apparels and visited many more places and persons. We had an immense day. Heart was feeling guilty to fabricate a sincere laugh though we were in a fright of dispersing each other in a few minutes. Thereafter, Prabhul paid the bill and TIPS for the lavish and gourmet luncheon. We estranged many bones from the flesh!

They dropped me at the railway station. I forgot not to store up the stills of the tender moments in my cell. On disperse, he put his arms around me for a while and with a shivering head he persistently laughed without any reason. I too brought out the virtual laugh in my face. It was nothing more than a muzzle-exercise! Because, we don’t wanted to be sad. At last I told him, “Never ever forget to bring deodorants, T-shirts, foreign soaps, shampoos, creams and lotions on return.”

Thereafter, I got into a rush-train. It was dusk-passed by the time I reached the Kasaragod station. A temple festival-procession on the NH 17 created an atrocious traffic-block for almost an hour. The noisy devotional show-offs badly spoiled the time. Police were assisting the festival-organizing committee in blocking the vehicles effectively. Alarm of ambulance was not stronger than the celebration band-sound! Creating a traffic block seems to be a prestige issue to every religion. If a religion is not capable of making a huge traffic block, then respective religion is labeled as weak!

I reached home late and continued the actions.

"WE don't have the right to be sad and yell to god unwantedly!"

Some days back, when I cross road, I saw a guy who was at his twenties. He was not as fair as me; he was pimpled, scars across the body lavishly, uncontrollably grown hair, skinny physique! He was lying aside on the pavement in the scorching sunlight along with an entourage of mischievous flies. Noticeably, there was a SPACE in place of the LEGS! He was cheering at me, in expectation of some coins. I passed him without searching my wallet to find UNWANTED pennies! I headed toward the fruit seller nearby, grabbed a wrap of fruit salad. I returned to the STATIC-human and shown the packet in front of his face. He leaned forward, grabbed it and without a second-thought he started to gobble it hurriedly! When I move away, my eyes were watery; I hope his too!

So….. What??? Hmm? Nothing... Eh?

Starvation, joblessness, solitude, sickness, negligence from the closest ...Etc... These are kinda 'must-felts' in life.. BUT, its gonna be a beautiful face of life, after being ridden hell out of the same! So, forget not to enjoy even the sorrowful pages of your life. Own-tear tastes good when recollected after a long while!

“Ohhh, today is Deepavali, huh? :-/ ”

'Happy Deepavali' to the humanity; that’s all I can do on this magnificent date! I am in Banglore at this instant. In urge to form a platform to my verve. Thus, this time my Deepavali is in Banglore without my family, without more friends around! In Kerala, Deepavali celebration is only on television and in temples; I have been experiencing it in the same manner over the years. No more fest of lights and no more feasts with furious sounds!

Deepavali is celebrated in memory of Devi’s ‘righteous kill of Narakasuran’! The nighttime will be embellished with incandescent lights; in ambience of devotion and fidelity. Gifts and sweet dishes are being shared among all kith and kin in exchange of bliss.

My 'Miss Y' went along with her roommate to her home in Andhra to celebrate a Deepavali for the first time in her life! She assured that she will be back with packs of special sweets in bag from her home for me.

I hate fire-crackers. The roguish noise propagates from the blasts seldom created joy in me! The pollutant smoke out of gusts is irksome. No matter whether it's Deepavali or Vishu; it is just a 'waste of money' in my angle. It obstructs me from involving in my pass-of-time activities and hobbies. My room mate is also from Kerala. He too frowns at these wicked crackers, since we have been losing our slumber because of the destructive mode of pleasure performance. The sadist in me prayed and wished deeply, ‘Rain, rain come again… Fall over these sound-celebrations!’

When stepped out of my room to a ‘thattukada’ to have my fasting break along with roommate, met with so many panic blasts. It was bedlam everywhere. Many brats and brood found mischievous and deadly-dangerous with crackers, sparklers, squibs and match boxes in hand. They delighted at each and every blast. Street dogs were bolting hastily across the streets and barkig in a fit of pique as if their sharp ears had been devoured from the bally stupid fireworks. I took so many snaps of those realty life-shows in front, though I adore in to the varieties of life spectrum. The rich, medium and the poor families found carrying out the warmth of the fest with different volume of crackers, confectioneries and passion. Karnatic women, both inside and outside the houses looked gorgeous in their newly stitched exclusive costumes!

After a light morning-intake of Dosa and sambar along with a cherry milk-shake, I strode off into a men’s saloon. My mom spoke to me in morning on the cell, when I was in a pose being fixed my buttocks in the barber’s chair. She mumbled, ‘Happy Deepavali daa....’ She sounded sound at the other end, even in the echoic saloon cabin with scissor’s persistent kisses over my hair.

I returned to my room and opened the ‘windows’ into my friends, and then thought to share my solitary thoughts about this blissful but boring day! There was only my roommate to hear me, when the entire nation celebrates!
I may spend the day idle after a late bathe', may be with some simple garnishes like an English movie, a lunch and dinner at any ‘smell-full’ restaurant and then broken sleeps! I may dial to some of my buddies, not especially to greet or share Deepavali thoughts, but… :)

BUT, what happened at the end of the lonely day? I was unexpectedly invited to my room mate's sister's house situated in neighbourhood to celebrate the beams of lights together. I had belly-full of sweets, ear-full of sound and feasts and this molded the first Deepavali celebration in my life! It was memorable, morover unforgetable! I did, what i do not wish to! So, still i can hear a course of intense tune inside my ear holes, "keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........" :(

Anyways, this time, it was literally a HAPPY DEEPAVALI for me! Thanks to the lights and sounds and sweets, also to my room mate's sister and family :)
